Reign Of Darkness (2015 - 2020)

The really interesting thing about the Reign of Darkness Series, is that it is set about 30 years from now (now being 2024) or if you want a "futuristic series" 50 years from now (yes if you want it "unreal") as an overall goal of a time frame..... I had actually began the music with some framework demo's in 2015 and decided in late 2017 with everything going on in my life to write a script based loosely on that bullshit. Eventually as I began writing I formed the general ideas for this series, more for a TV style thing than a movie. However I wrote it using present day real world happening, and when I did that, it's like a Book Of Prophecy. The document dates for, say Episode 1, is January 1st, 2018, for the opening monologue emprinted over scenes or war, and it talks about a worldwide pandemic caused by a corona virus as a central focus of the episode. The Corona Pandemic began in 2020 for most of the world. Yet the series is "after" that has happened and there are civil unrest rise up and happenings. So much of what I wrote for the series has not happened yet. 30 years ahead is kind of the line of the later years displayed in the show, as the series is both retro and futuristic at the same time. Like Episode 3 where it could be not far from now, a few years, and alien vessels have been detected in our solar system. The "civil" unrest of say the very near future that people think that is coming, is overshadowed by this armada of alien fleet(s) sitting on the edge of our solar system. As the series progress, the aliens are silent yet increasingly it's realized, the Aliens are Angelic beings helping the Freedom Rebels.... yeah, it has some killer shit... The Music for the series is like that too. Some simple almost acoustic parts to some feedback symphonies. Season 2 begins to take on transhumanism and advanced AI in a dying world of greed and gluttony. Sound familiar? But this is the future, not so much now, though kinda, in a mysterious way! The first "Episode of the Season has "5" chapters or shows, so 5-in-1, for all kinds of mind fuck fun!
