SUCCOTASH 7-8/91
After spending the first months of 1991 mastering the
Wild LP for release, and trying to form a couple of
bands (nothing doin). I relaxed for a while and put
together the Succotash album. It's straight forward
power stuff with some intermixed polyphonic pieces
making use of delay stack tracks. It's pretty hard
hitting but kinda mellow at the same time, go figure.

INSTITUTION 2/92
Wherever this album came from, I don't know. Since
late 1991 was a slow period, when I started working
on the Godfathers LP in February of '92, I came accross
a bunch of uncompleted songs in my working folder.
These songs were for the most part shored up and partially finished,
and they became Institution. Some rewrites and
added parts done up in 2023. Nothing fancy, just lots
of power chords, 7/8 time, and screaming!!

GODFATHER 2-5/92
I wrote most of this LP while on vacation in the beautiful
Cobb County Correctional Institute, then finished it
by preparing all the music in the first few weeks of
freedom.. This LP isn't about gangsters per se, but
about the biggest gang of all, Uncle Sam's System.
These songs reek of anger, frustration, and irony.

RUMOURS CAN
KILL 6-7/92
I put together a great band in the summer of 1992,
with Philbro on drums and Mark Spellman, a prodigy,
on the bass. Some of the songs we were working on
came from LP's over the last couple of years prior,
and some new ones were spun off and became the Rumours
Can Kill EP. As good as the band was, for too many
reasons it never really got off the ground, each one
of our gigs was a mix between brilliance and complete
disaster. I feel that 'ol black magic a workin'.
